Signed URLs (Beta)

Signed URLs restrict access to content using cryptographic signatures.

How It Works (Conceptual)

• URLs include a signature and optional expiration

• The CDN validates the signature before serving content

• Optional client IP binding is supported

How to Enable

Signed URLs are not self-service.

To enable:

1. Open a support ticket

2. Request signed URL access for a specific endpoint

Support will:

• Enable the feature

• Generate per-endpoint signing keys

• Provide usage instructions

Important Notes

• Keys are unique per endpoint

• Key rotation is handled via support

• SHA-1 is supported

• MD5 is supported but strongly discouraged

• Client IP binding may cause issues for mobile or NAT’d users
